Foundational Pistol Hosted by Edgecombe Community College From novice to even the most seasoned shooter will gain something from attending this class, as the fundamentals are the building blocks to other courses and advanced shooting techniques. Attendees will experience drills designed to build their' confidence and ability to accurately shoot their respective firearm faster and more efficiently. Concealed Carry Applications (Open Enrollment)
This course is an intermediate level course for armed professionals wishing to improve their ability to use their weapon in extremely close range situations. The course will cover practical skills such as weapon placement (on the shooter), presentation speed from concealment, speed shooting vs. accuracy and disengagement. Additional topics will include creating a plan for the individual and the family, concealment options, moving with others in a deadly confrontation, avoiding confrontation and what to do after stopping the threat. The overall objective of the course is to prepare the student with techniques and tactics to survive a deadly encounter at close range. Required equipment follows: Semi-auto handgun & 2 magazines Concealment holster 400 rounds of ammunition (450 HIGHLY recommended) At least 1 magazine pouch (or other means of carrying magazine while on range) Eye and Ear Protection Cancellation Policy: Due to the logistics of the class we will not be able to offer a full refund if you are unable to attend. Only 75% of the cost will be refunded back to you if you are not able to attend up until a week before the class and after that 50% refund if you cancel the week of the class.

Collab Pistol Performance with Fortis
This 2-Day course is designed to provide the student with the mechanics and skills necessary to run the gun as efficiently and accurately as possible, and use those skills to push their shooting performance to the next level. Day 1 will reinforce the hard skills associated with shooting the pistol: focusing on grip, trigger manipulation, target transitions, the draw, and so much more. Day 2 will afford the student the opportunity to use those skills in a more practical or performance-based realm by introducing movement, decision making, and shooting at speed. Each student will have the opportunity to compete for various giveaways and prizes, courtesy of our amazing industry partners. This collab course between IBX Tactical and JB Burton from Fortis Training & Consulting is for the armed professional and responsibly armed citizen alike! The instructors collectively have over 50 years of operational law enforcement experience and over 30 years of firearms instruction experience. Nate, with IBX, is a Modern Samurai Project endorsed instructor. Pistol Performance 2 Day (LE ONLY)
Performance Pistol is designed to enhance and improve the officers accuracy, speed and ability to safely manipulate their duty handgun. The course will cover range/weapon safety, fundamental refresher, skills to increase speed/accuracy and knowing when to switch between the two, trigger manipulation and multiple target engagements. You will also learn techniques that will help you evaluate and improve your shooting deficiencies. Instructor Development (Open Enrollment)
Our team has over 40 years of instructing firearms skills and tactics. Our mission is to bring out knowledge and teaching style to those other instructors to better aid their abilities to diagnosis their own shooting skills and those of their students. During the two and a half days we will dive into different proven methodologies of pistol shooting that will help you teach and identify the deficiencies of your student, so you can better assist them with their goals. This course is only open to State Certified, NRA Certified or other legitimate instructor course certificate for the attendees. If interested and once registered we will need a copy of your certification emailed for verification. ________________________________________________________________ EQUIPMENT: Handgun and three magazines, Holster and magazine pouches (No worn out leather or Serpa Holsters will be allowed), 400-500 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, pen and paper.
